Halloween Movies 60's and below.

 It's been far too long since I've written on this site. When I failed my goal of watching a movie every day I gave up writing. I forgot my reason for this blog is to share my love of movies. So I've decided to start the blog back.

 I will start writing articles weekly. For Halloween I will give a list of  horror movies to watch each day in October. I have divided them into 6 categories 5 movies per category which will equal 30 days since today is October 2nd. Remember I only have 30 days so there will be many classics that don't make it, but that's okay because there's next year. Some of these movies you will see in other people's list, but if it's a good movie I'm not leaving it out because it's popular.

 So here's the first group of five and the category is horror movies from the 60's and older

1. Nosferatu (1922)
This movie is a silent film, but It's classic, and one of the first Vampire movies so don't miss it.

2. The Blob (1958)
This movie stars Steve McQueen enough said.

3. Psycho (1960)
This is my second favorite Hitchcock movie after Rope. The plot is really messed up. I thought everyone knows the big surprise ending, but it turns out because the movie is so old I've met people who didn't even know the movie, or the ending. If you're one of the people who's never seen this movie watch it immediately

4. The Wolf Man (1941)
 I could have made this whole list Universal monsters movies because they are all classics. I decided to just pick one to put on this list. You may wonder why this movie why not Dracula, or Bride of Frankenstein. The reason is even though I've seen all the Universal monsters movies this one I remember the plot better than any other so that says something about the quality of this film.

5. Freaks (1932)
Of course I couldn't make a list without putting this cult classic on the list. When it came out it was considered so disturbing that it was blamed for a woman having a miscarriage. They had to cut scenes from this movie including a castration scene. It's very tame by today's standards though. This movie will have you chanting " One of us".
